FALL RISING FESTIVAL. MURPHYS, CALIFORNIA

This was a small mining town a long time ago, and now it was a place where they had a music festival.  We played, as did the bands of our friends, including Ash Reiter, The Blank Tapes, and Sparrows Gate. A thunderstorm came during our set and I jumped in the river so the locals would enjoy the memories. My overall life was out of control. I see that now that I am more clear minded. Ross took a good picture. Tom and Jen ghosted and are my heroes. I'm grateful for the unconditional love of my friends, and to whatever other worldly sources fended off disaster, because there was a fire and troubles in the cold damp, night.

Hickey Fest, Leggett CA

We had fun. Our friend Ash puts this festival on each summer.  The music is great and there's lots of interesting people. You wander from the river to the camp sight, to the place across highway 1 where the music shows are.  Sometimes I didn't know what to do. I got stars crossed though I don't believe in Astrology and played the fool effortlessly. I do think I took good pictures though. Maybe you won't agree. Time will tell.

The Juggler

A long time ago, when I was eleven years old, I finished third in a juggling contest at a soccer camp.  I got beat by two brothers who came to the camp from Japan.  Their names were Toshiaki and Katsiuki.  As a promotional stunt to announce my new record that Eric and I had began some years before in Europe, I trained myself to beat the Japanese brothers' juggling records by lots and lots with the intention of using the first few tracks as a sound track to the video tape of my efforts. The training was a great success. It's promotional effects were negligible.

Michael sees if he can break the combined juggling record of two childhood rivals. A long time ago, when I was eleven years old, I finished third in a juggling contest at a soccer camp. I got beat by two brothers who came to the camp from Japan.
